DiSKarte is a youth digital organizing initiative that supported 20 youthorganizations nationwide in proposing, incubating, implementing, and refining innovative strategies for digital organizing and political communication. As the work progressed, DiSKarte evolved from individual program support into a shared learning platform. YPS identified emerging thematic and digital trends and shifted toward clustered reporting andpublic learning.

Over two years, DiSKarte grew into a community of practice, where progressive youth organizations across the country learned from one another through experimentation, collaboration, and collective reflection on digital civic action.

Swipe Right to Vote is the flagship youth voter education initiative of Young Public Servants (YPS), developed in partnership with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) to prepare young Filipinos for the 2025 Philippine Midterm Elections.

The socio-political climate in the Philippines and COVID-19 continue to stir challenges for youth participation in government and civil society in the past years.

Funded by APCASO, this project mobilized our existing youth networks to implement community-based, sustainable, and consultative response to COVID-19.

Tawid Tuwid is a project co-organized with the World Movement for Democracy that features the journeys of young people who have crossed over from civil society to government service.

Together withUrbanisMo.PH, Chevening Alumni Fund, the National Democratic Institute, and thePhilippine Center for Investigative Journalism (PCIJ), we produced a short animated film entitled, “Ang Bata at Ang Butete sa Bayan ng Hiling.”

Produced six months after the onset of COVID-19, the Urbanismo Podcast hopes to advocate for greater inclusivity and sensitivity in crafting responses to this global health problem.

The “Fact or Fake” Project aims to highlight how Filipino internet users discern, investigate, and analyze the legitimacy of a news item.
